Trend lines connect a series of highs or lows to define and confirm a trend. The trend may be an uptrend or a downtrend, but it will generally be identified by trend lines. Trend lines are straight lines which are drawn along at least two relative highs or relative lows. Trend lines may be horizontal trend lines or slanted, as is the case with rising trend lines (uptrend lines) or descending trend lines (downtrend lines).
Trend lines are often good places to initiate trading positions with a low-risk entry, because a penetration of the trend line is a break of the trend, which provides an exit signal. The more times that price touches the trend line, the more significant and valid that trend line becomes. When trend lines first begin to form, they may require redrawing to be sure to connect significant lows and highs, but as a trend line matures, it will rarely need to be adjusted. The steeper a trend line's angle, the less reliable it becomes.
Day to day after this, I will show readers how important the trendlines which might give profitable signals. This trendlines analysis is one of the my primary tools to trade stocks.

Scomimr Daily Chart
On the daily chart showing that Scomimr is in uptrend mode which is trading above it's trendline since March 2007. An uptrend is a series of higher highs and higher lows. Scomimr make a correction after making a new high a few days ago with a high volume. The technical indicator RSI just get-out from the overbought area which will be potential for pullback swing trade opportunity. The decreasing volume on the pullback may tell us that price will continue uptrend. Let's see what will happen...
Weekly and daily chart showing that Nextnat is still in a downtrend since early of December 2006. The previous support at 0.260 already broken on 2th July 2007 with the panic selling which already tested twice at the lowest 0.235 and take a breath at old support 0.245. On the last trading session, the security price has set a new 14-period low while the RSI has not in both time frame. This is a bullish divergence.
What is RSI? The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a technical analysis oscillator showing price strength by comparing upward and downward close-to-close movements. It was developed by J.Welles Wilder. Bullish divergence occurs when a stock or index makes a low high in price and the RSI indicator makes a higher low. Bearish divergence is just the opposite -- price will make a new high, but RSI makes a lower high. Typically, bearish divergence is marked by a rising trendline above the price action and a falling trendline on the RSI indicator and visa versa.
When will Nextnat make a reversal in trend from sharp down move and end of the 7-months downtrend? What will be next? We will see...
